MYSaveFood is a government-led initiative. During Ramadan, MYSaveFood rescues surplus food from Ramadan bazaars, and channels it to those in need.
Since Ramadan 2025, the campaign has been powered by the ReMeal platform.
How does it work?
Pemuda GEMA handles operations on the ground. Managing the volunteers and handling the logistics at the bazaars.
ReMeal provides a tech platform to manage the operations. Increasing efficiency and scalability.

What does volunteering involve?

Collect surplus food from each bazaar stall.
Bring it to the MYSaveFood stall to be handled.

Count, categorise, and weigh each food.
This is inputted into the ReMeal platform to be made available for recipients.

Deliver and distribute food to the needy.
Or if the recipient is doing self-pickup, get it ready for the specified collection time.

Register if you are an eligible organisation.
Including charities, food banks, NGOs, student societies, and mosques.

Our team will assess your application.
We will be in touch if we need to know anything else.

If successful, we will allocate a date for you,
You can either collect the food from the bazaar, or we can arrange delivery.
