ReMeal has announced that Celsius Coffee will join their platform as their first vendor.
ReMeal has built an app where customers can purchase surplus food from stores. Celsius Coffee plan to use the ReMeal platform primarily to sell their surplus bottled iced coffee, and fresh pastries.
The founders behind Celsius Coffee, Ammar Shahrin and Ammar Roslizar - both who have previously won the Forbes 30 Under 30 Award - stated that, "Our bottled coffee is freshly made in advance. This means we have to predict the demand beforehand, which can be challenging. Unfortunately sometimes this means we may prepare too much. And due to its short shelf life, if it doesn't get sold, it could end up getting wasted. ReMeal gives an opportunity for businesses in our industry to recover some of these sunk costs."
Falah Hamidi, Co-Founder of ReMeal expressed that, "Celsius Coffee is the perfect business to partner with for our launch. The two Ammars are serial entrepreneurs. They are also the brains behind Arba Travel, a market leader in the Halal Tourism industry, and Yezza, a tech startup backed by Y Combinator. So as budding startup founders, we are all on the same wavelength, which really helps when working together for this launch. With their mindset, they can easily see the value ReMeal will bring to their business."
Celsius Coffee will be launching ReMeal in their Putrajaya Conezion, and Shah Alam stores.
Download the App and create an account on ReMeal now. The first 200 users will receive RM6 worth of coupons!
