On Thursday 15th May 2025, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL - Kuala Lumpur City Hall) launched the roadmap towards Zero Waste 2040 - their plan to reduce organic waste by 20%, and inorganic waste by 40% by the year 2040.
